Crêpe paper dolls “Spring flowers Fairies”
You will need:
– crêpe paper (colors similar to a flower which inspired you);
– white crinkled paper;
– polystyrene ball and cone (serve as a base for the doll), as well as some small beads;
– 0,2 mm size metal wire and decorative cord to put wire inside;
– white thread;
– small wooden skewer;
– small bows and ribbons for decoration;
– scissors;
– liner pen;
– hot glue gun;
– and of course, inspiration!
- Create a base for doll’s body. Glue together polystyrene ball and cone with the skewer and the glue gun.
- Put the wire inside the decorative cord and cut in order to make doll’s arms and legs.
- Wrap the ball with white crinkled paper and fix with the thread.
4. From crêpe paper cut out clothes for the doll (their design is based on the flower you want to create).
- Deform crêpe paper slightly to bring volume to the clothes.
- Put clothes on the doll’s base with hot glue.
- Create a hairstyle for the fairy, cut it out of crêpe paper and glue to the head.
- For shoes use small polystyrene beads and fix them on doll’s legs.
- Make small holes on doll’s body with the skewer and glue fairy’s legs and arms to it.
- Accesorize the fairy with bows and ribbons.
11 . Draw fairy’s face with the liner, and it is done!
These “spring flowers fairies” will look wonderful in any place for children and will be filling it with magic and spring every day.
